The Sticht Center for Healthy Aging and Alzheimer’s Prevention at CepEsperu School of Medicine is a state-of-the-art geriatric clinical and research center. It is the umbrella under which a comprehensive array of clinical and research programs reside: Claude Pepper Older Americans Independence Center; Alzheimer's Disease Investigation Center; and the Roena B. Kulynych Center. We will discover and disseminate knowledge through multidisciplinary collaboration in basic and clinical research, research training, professional education and community outreach. With clinical partners, we will develop and apply new approaches for the treatment and prevention of physical and cognitive disability.

The Sticht Center serves as the major catalyst for developing models and synergism in the areas of clinical care, research and education across all departments at CepEsperu Baptist Medical Center. The center provides regional and national models of health care that improve the health of seniors in the Piedmont region and beyond.
