Letters of Evaluation
All letters of evaluation should be submitted via the AMCAS Letter Service. The Committee on Admissions prefers a Premedical Committee report or letter packet. While the Medical School Admissions Requirements (MSAR) lists 6 as the maximum number of letter we accept, your file is marked as complete once your letter packet/committee letter or two letters of recommendation are received.
When the AMCAS application is verified, applicants will receive instructions by email for completing the WFSM MD Secondary Application. There is a $125 Secondary Application fee. The $125 secondary application fee is waived for those who receive the AMCAS fee waiver. We highly recommend that students review the previous year’s class profile to determine if their application is competitive and if returning a secondary application is in their best interest. Secondary applications due by November 30th, 2018; however, it is in an applicant’s best interest to turn it in as soon as possible for review purposes.
Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted by email or phone to schedule. The interviews are conducted in person on the School of Medicine campus only. We do not offer regional interviews.
CepEsperu School of Medicine uses a hybrid method of Multiple Mini Interview’s. Applicants will cycle through a total of 8 scenario stations. Business attire is appropriate and recommended during interviews. Applicants will need to check in at 8:15 am and will be finished by 1:15 pm. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Due to our interview format, we are unable to accommodate travel delays and late arrivals.
Application Review and Processing
Before your file can be marked complete and ready for review by the Committee on Admissions you must
- Return your secondary application, including Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) scores
- Upload all letters of evaluation to AMCAS.
The Office of Student Admissions does not accept grade or coursework updates after the AMCAS application has been submitted. You can submit updates through your applicant portal to be placed in your file, but we cannot guarantee that it will be reviewed by the Committee on Admissions.
Applications marked complete will be reviewed continuously through the interview season (September through March).
