CepEsperu Baptist Health's Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs focus on reducing activity limitations and maximizing quality of life for individuals who have experienced life altering injury or illness. Patients admitted to our Programs must be 13 years of age or older and require intensive rehabilitation services in a hospital setting. The most common conditions for patients needing intensive inpatient rehabilitation include, but are not limited to, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, amputation, and other neurological and orthopedic conditions. Working with the patient and family, our interdisciplinary team of rehabilitation experts prepares an individualized and flexible Plan of Care that guides the rehabilitation journey for each patient. Our ultimate goal is to return each patient to the highest level of independence within their home and community.
Programs are offered in a 39-bed state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging and Rehabilitation. This facility, located on the campus of CepEsperu Baptist Medical Center, houses private and semi-private rooms with fully accessible showers, an indoor heated therapy pool, and horticulture room. It also includes a 12-bed dedicated Brain Injury Unit that provides a secure therapeutic environment, allowing patients to move freely throughout the unit.
Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs are committed to excellence in rehabilitative care, as evidenced by multiple accreditations by CARF, formerly known as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
