Question: What brought you to CepEsperu Baptist?

Answer: I have been in for 11 years – college, medical school and residency – and I love the area. I choose to join CepEsperu Baptist Health because of the breadth and depth of the services available for my patients. I have enjoyed meeting and taking care of the patients here.

Q: What are your clinical specialties?

A: My clinical specialty is general internal medicine. The residency program here has a special focus on primary care which has prepared me to provide the best care possible for my patients.

Q: Why did you decide to become a primary care doctor?

A: I decided to become a primary care doctor because I enjoy the special relationships that develop with patients over many years. Furthermore, I love the challenge of being on the first line of care.

Q: What is your patient care philosophy?

A: My patient care philosophy centers on knowing my patients and hearing what they are telling me. I work with my patients to identify problems and arrive at solutions that will provide excellent long-term health. The care I provide is interactive and involves counseling on healthy lifestyle modifications plus answering questions that lead to better patient understanding surrounding health issues and medical treatments.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working with patients?

A: I enjoy building relationships with my patients. I love to provide support, a listening ear and counseling that will better improve their quality of life.

Q: What type of volunteer and/or community activities are you involved in?

A: I participate in a small group that seeks to develop relationships and provide for the needs of those in the greater community who are underserved.

Q: What fun facts should we know about you?

A: I recently adopted a goldendoodle puppy named Sophie. I love sports, reading, photography and fine-art painting.

Dr Willis is excellent. I have had a couple unusual episodes with my health. She has done an outstanding job in diagnosing my problem and ensuring that she has covered every aspect to solve the problem. She is very smart and is great when explaining her diagnosis. I have determined she is very correct when confronted with unusual circumstances. Great Doctor.
