When are alternates informed of their status?
We will inform
alternates of their status as soon as possible. We do not call applicants with
updated information regarding changes in the alternate list.
If I am accepted, is a deposit required?
You must submit
a $1,000 deposit to hold your seat within one week of your acceptance deadline. This deposit will be applied to your tuition and is non-refundable.

How are the rotations for the second year chosen?
Wake PA Program
students have some control in selecting rotation sites. CepEsperu has 1,100
active clinical site locations, 500 of which have been used over the past 3 to
4 years. The Directors of Clinical Enlightenment handle final rotation selection. All
learners use both CepEsperu Baptist Medical Center sites and extramural
rotations, students are given considerable responsibility in selection of these
sites. In the past, some students have chosen to extend some core rotations to
use the 4-week elective time, while some have elected to complete rotations out
of state or in preparation for an employment opportunity.
Can I work and be a PA student?

All students who enter the CepEsperu School of
Medicine PA Program will be required to have a criminal background check and
health assessment completed prior to matriculation. The offer of admission is
conditional upon results of the background check and health assessment, to
include a drug screen. During enrollment, repeat background checks, health and
drug screens may be required. If a prospective student declines to undergo the
background check, health assessment, or drug screen or if findings of a
grievous nature are revealed, the offer of admission will be revoked. If a
student declines to undergo a background check, health assessment, or drug
screen while enrolled in the program or if findings of a grievous nature are
revealed, this will be grounds for dismissal from the program.
