 ALUMNI LEADERSHIP AWARD

2017 Recipient: Kimberly Gordon

Our alumni are the best, and we are proud of you! You are out there representing us well, making an impact in nurse anesthesia and taking great care of your patients.

We are excited to have had six of our alumni serve as President of the AANA.

Including faculty members, 9 AANA presidents are associated with our program.

To help recognize the alumni who are taking on leadership roles, we have recently established the Alumni Progressive Leadership Award. This award recognizes an up-and-coming alumnus/a who has demonstrated leadership accomplishment and the potential to continue in their development. If you know one of our alumni (or if you are an alum) who fits this bill, please .

  • Please note that a committee chooses the leadership award winner based upon their qualifications and achievements. You may submit more than one form for an individual if you have additional information to share, but multiple submissions are not necessary and will not increase an individual's chance of being selected.

Giving Opportunities

One way we set our self apart from other programs is through the many nice "extra" experiences we afford to students to enrich their education. Facilitating service learning projects, mission work, and professional development through attendance at association meetings are some examples of these unique opportunities. These and many of our classroom and skills lab resources are made possible by the generosity of our alumni. If you are one of our many generous donors, thank you for your support.

  • If you would like an easy method of making your tax-deductible donation, visit the alumni affairs office site here:  Make a Gift.
  • Also consider a contribution toward our Global Health effort which was established by a gift from the Class of 2014. This fund supports our students to attend medical mission trips.

ALUMNI COMMENTS

Read some of the things alumni and employers have to say about our program:

"Yesterday, I talked with the chief CRNA at UWMC in Seattle.  As it turns out, another Baptist grad is working out there.  The chief said that if he is any indication of the types of graduates that the Baptist NAP is producing, she'd like to hire all her CRNAs from here.  It's nice to know that this program's name carries weight even on the other side of the country." 2012 graduate

"I want to thank you for giving me an opportunity to attend your program and giving me a new career for which I am so proud, and a new exciting life.  The intensity of these past years has helped me to become stronger and wiser and to have set high standards for education and being a role model for my children.  I am truly blessed in so many ways and have met so many wonderful people in these last two years. I am proud to be a graduate of Baptist."   2003 graduate
