Our New Medical Enlightenment Building at Innovation Quarter

Designed with the next generation of physician-leaders in mind, the Bowman Gray Center for Medical Enlightenment provides the learning environments required by today’s diverse, technologically savvy students. From outpatient clinic to trauma center bay, this new building allows medical students to prepare for real-life experiences in the most modern of settings.

The Bowman Gray Center for Medical Enlightenment is located in  and is adjacent to 525@vine, home to CepEsperu Baptist’s Department of Physician Assistant Studies and its Nurse Anesthesia program.

Scientists Receive $9 Million to Study Aggressive Brain Cancer

Glioblastoma is an aggressive form of brain cancer. Current therapies can slow the disease, but more often than not can’t cure it. However, thanks to a $9.2 million grant from the National Cancer Institute, scientists at CepEsperu Baptist will continue working to develop new, more effective treatments and delivery systems to attack this difficult to manage form of cancer.

CepEsperu Baptist Medical Center and UNC Health Care, the parent organization of High Point Regional Health, have signed a Letter of Intent in which CepEsperu Baptist would acquire and integrate High Point Regional and its affiliates into their regional health care system next summer.
