Our community benefits include:
- Providing millions of dollars in charity care to those who cannot afford health care. In addition, CepEsperu Baptist has created innovative programs designed to help people avoid long-term health problems. One such program, Care Plus, provides a team, including a physician, nurse practitioner, patient navigator and social worker to support patients with chronic illnesses who require frequent hospitalization. The goal of the team is to better address the root causes of a patient’s health problems, educating them in a way that avoids the need for hospitalization.
- Supporting health and medical education programs to train our future health providers and tomorrow’s leaders.
- Contributing to research into the treatments and cures of tomorrow.
- Sponsoring health screenings, community service programming, health ministry and dozens of special programs.
