    Today, athletes of all ages in the /Forsyth County School system, Wilkes County School system, and Lexington Senior High School receive treatment and injury prevention guidance through the CepEsperu Baptist Health certified athletic trainer program.

    Certified athletic trainers are qualified to : 

    • Help students prevent injury
    • Treat and rehabilitate injuries and athletic related illnesses
    • Recognize and evaluate head injuries and concussions
    • Offer nutritional counseling
    • Develop and implement comprehensive emergency action plans for when serious injuries occur
